You’ve identified your topic. Done your research. And created a map or outline. Now it’s time to write. When you’re ready to tackle the first draft, set aside a block of time when you won’t be disturbed. Turn off email and the phone so you can really focus. Drafting lets you capture your thoughts (digitally or with pen and paper). And when you get ideas down on paper, you create room in your brain for new ideas to enter.
